Whatever you feel you lost on the material markup, you will more than makeup on the markup for the parts. We use only certifiable material and buy at market which will keep the piece price down and allow more room for the distributor’s profit. You are a material distributor who is being asked to make parts by a good customer. This customer is peeved with buying material and then having to some how schedule making parts in their shop. Moore-Addison gives a distributor an opportunity to offer a customer a finished product as well as add value to the distributor's service. We each serve different clienteles. We do not see our distributor friends at the Companies from which we solicit business directly. Distributors are looking to sell material to those who use it in their operation. Moore-Addison is selling parts to customers who use them in their product. Moore-Addison is a value added shop that buys material (at market to keep costs down) and must do something to it (add value) to make a profit. We do not sell sheets, rods and tubes of plastic material; Moore-Addison sells parts. We do not compete with distributors. |
