Moore Addison machines only NON-METALLIC materials. The universal commonality of anything we machine is that all the materials produce a cool chip when tooling is applied to the sheet, rod or tube being machined. Because there is little heat generated by any of our machining processes, we cut everything dry and use no coolants.
For that reason, the parts you receive are completely free of contaminating cutting oils with any attendant outgassing and arch tracking pollution. We can even wipe down the parts to get rid of ambient dust. The dust and chips from our machining processes are collected with an enormous suction system. We pay to have this detritus hauled away and disposed of consistent with all local, state and federal regulations and laws.
The machining niche Moore Addison fills is that we make precision donuts and other basic shapes out of materials that produce dust and other nasty stuff when processed with our machines. It is a partial list because if we listed all the materials that produce a cool chip when cut, we would have many pages; you would get bored and go to another website.
